Los Oscar 2011

El paso del tiempo es impresionante cuando nuevamente tenemos a los premios Oscar en escena, hace tiempo que la Academia de Artes y Ciencias Cinematográficas no llega a sorprenderme con alguna buena noticia, tomando en cuenta que siempre las películas con mas nominaciones pierden en sus principales categorías, y ganando las producciones de menor escala o reconocidas por el publico, no me agradaría anticipar que esta entrega tendremos a ‘The Kids Are All Right’ (Focus Features) y ‘Winter’s Bone’ (Roadside Attractions) como las ganadores del certamen. ¿Y cuando exhibieron esas peliculas en nuestro cine? Ni mas mínima idea que existían en cartelera, pero aun así están nominadas como mejor película, afortunadamente ahora son 10 películas que luchan por el codiciado Oscar, otro punto que veo lamentable es que la mayoría de estas películas no han tenido su estreno en varios países, como por ejemplo: Cisne Negro, The Fighter 127 Hours y The King’s Speech seamos honestos, como podemos disfrutar de esta gala, cuando las distribuidoras de estas películas están esperando venderlas al publico en la taquilla, para decir... Ganadora de... Una estrategia que no apoyo por que en ocasiones las historias son una porq#*?=.....perdida de tiempo.

Una de las mas olvidadas en categorías principales a sido Origen (2010)  de Christopher Nolan en las posiciones de mejor director y actor, caso lamentable, sin pasar por alto a TRON: Legacy (2010) que fue olvidada por completo. Lo mas curioso fue colocar a Toy Story 3 en la lista de las 10 mejores películas, no voy a negarlo, la saga de Toy Story es maravillosa, pero no creo conveniente su nominación, por que es una película generada por ordenadores y efectos especiales, lo mismo que ocurrió con "Avatar" (2009) de James Cameron. ¿Señores de la Academia acaso olvidaron eso?.

La novedad que mantiene a esta ceremonia es la presencia de James Franco y Anne Hathaway (¿La oiremos decir Miau por ser la nueva Catwoman?... no creo) como presentadores de este magno evento, así que podemos decir que es un punto a favor. A continuación las lista de los nominados:
